Caramelized sugar on the nose bing cherry on the palate with dried cranberries on the finish. This is an amazingly well balanced wine dispute it’s youth. So time in the bottle would make this a spectacular wine. — 3 years ago
Joey Tensley is my hero! The man makes magic in the glass and his Syrahs are legendary. There is nothing that I have tried that I didn’t love. Colson Canyon is their signature grape but everything they touch becomes magic. Better and better all night as it opened up. — 6 years ago
The 2021 Red Wine All Blocks, Tensley's Grenache-based wine, is a knock-out. Bright red-toned fruit, blood orange, spice, menthol and cinnamon are all dialed up. This succulent, juicy 2021 delivers the goods. Dollops of Syrah from Colson Canyon and Mourvèdre from the estate vineyard round out the blend. The 2021 is supremely delicious. 2015 is my favorite but this 2014 is the perfect example of SBC single vineyard Grenache, lush berries and cassis.... unbelievably expressive. YES!!! Colson Canyon is perfection! — 7 years ago

Garnet red. Smokey, potent blackberry bouquet. Velvety mouthfeel, leathery tannins. Warm, round, blackberry and barbecued plums, gentle pepper. Lengthy, mouthwatering finish. Superb. Merry Christmas! — 7 years ago

This was our 3L for the Christmas party - excellent Syrah, incredibly long tail to it, a little sparkly up front. Was a hit with the guests but I thought fell just short of the Adelaida last year — 4 months ago
