Bulgarian wine amarone style. Dark purple (though dark out) dark fruit with hint of plum prune and cinnamon. Same on mouth with tannins that need some time. Long. Very good. May be my first Bulgarian wine. Definitely first with grape drying. — 3 months ago

Yup, that’s a ‘16 wine throwing off serious sediment. From Molise, & the Tintilla varietal. Black fruited, Funky, Delicious, very dry, give it some air (& decant, duh). Steep Hill importer- give’em some skin. 12.5%. — 5 years ago

Excellent for 10 euros! The fruit is dark, ripe and warm but it’s well balanced by savory ashy and earthy notes. Good length and complexity. The 15% alcohol made its presence known. No call for a digestive...
