Interesting wine. Some sort of semi obscure Tuscan grape sometimes used for blending in Chianti. Very very juicy - maybe too much so. Pretty light, but with great fruit and a surprisingly long finish. Good acid, very little in the way of tannins.

Still a very interesting wine, with a ripe peachy-pear nose and a spine of acidity on the palate. Salty. Works well with that beast of pairings, tomato sauce. Needs food to show at its best. — 10 years ago

Great blen for Italy wine lovers. Thick and round bodied. Deep red color, red berries by nose, very smooth and drinkable. Just a little bit too sweet as for me. Almost perfect. — 2 months ago
