Wow, this is a great wine! And I've learned that the independent/small grower/non-industrial winemaking community in Chile is probably 20x (or 50x) larger than I thought. And as far as I can tell they are all making interesting stuff. This producer makes an amazing $14 Cinsault in Itata valley, which I had never heard of before, but the sommelier I bought this from (@vinomio in Santiago, Chile) said it was a real backwater until recently. This is a vibrant, fresh wine with a nice bouquet and burgundy-like color in the glass. It's so pleasant to drink that I can't resist downing the whole bottle (unfortunately). It has 12.8% alcohol and doesn't even have a bar code, which I think gives an indication of their production values. From Vinomio in Santiago. — 8 years ago

The wine is simply delicious for the silly price of 5€. It is pleasently sweet and fruity, smells great as well. A real crowd pleaser. — 6 years ago
