LP 3 from the Gurdjieff/ de Hartmann box set and a spectacular Barbera. The music is a collection of beautiful piano compositions based on the spiritual teachings of George Gurdjieff. The wine has all the juicy pleasure one expects from Barbera, but has plenty of structure as well. Tannins add some texture & the acidic lift adds complexity to the wine. Here is a wine of substance. I think he actually drives his pick up to the vineyard and plays music for the vines.... You can't make this shit up. The fruit is vibrant tropical and with notes of the sea underpinning these flavors. This is a tour de force in wine making. — 9 years ago
