First experience with Zweigelt. Clean streak of acid and red fruit with some earthy notes on the back end. Needs more time for the acid profile to soften and let the fruit shine through. — 3 years ago

Quite pale, with a tart, crunchy character that teeters on the edge of too light, even for me - but it rounds out a touch with air and time, and went very well with food - pinot noir is always great with shoyu-based dishes, but this went especially well with masu teriyaki (though not with floppy sweet stereotype...) — 2 years ago
