Raising a glass to @Diana L tonight for a personal best in the Philadelphia Broad Street Run. The 2014 vintage of this is a bit brighter and cleaner than the '13. The nose screams of the terroir, cool, earthy and gravelly. Crystalline cherry fruit on the palate; lively acidity reveals nice layers. Clean and lasting finish. — 5 years ago
2015 Texturé Deer Meadows Pinot Noir.
Nose - Perfume, dried leaves, dried cherries. Palate- Cold Red Cherries & in this medium-bodied elegant wine. Moderate tannins & good acidity balance it out well with cinnamon and pine forest notes. The body not too full, and the mouthfeel is generous & pleasing. Pinot that you would have no problem serving for knowledgeable wine group. Edit - Decanted for an hour. — 3 years ago
Stunner- love this wine!!! — 6 years ago
Did well but didn't quite place among Single blind Pinot tasting of 6 wines. Mistaken for Kosta Browne by a few guests. Young wine but strong that improved beyond the 120 minute decant. — 7 years ago

Texture Ferrington Pinot Noir. Medium ruby red in color. The nose is exotic & sell it.
The wine is robust, bright acidity & firm tannins(1-hour decanting)
Ripe cherry, bruised plum, dry savory herb. A pronounced spice finish. Personally would wait another year or so before opening a bottle. Wouldn’t surprise me if somebody thoroughly enjoyed this wine in 10 years. Cheers! — 2 years ago
