2015 Texturé Deer Meadows Pinot Noir.
Nose - Perfume, dried leaves, dried cherries. Palate- Cold Red Cherries & in this medium-bodied elegant wine. Moderate tannins & good acidity balance it out well with cinnamon and pine forest notes. The body not too full, and the mouthfeel is generous & pleasing. Pinot that you would have no problem serving for knowledgeable wine group. Edit - Decanted for an hour. — 5 years ago
@Joe Lucca was gracious to set up a virtual tasting for the Wine Nerd Herd with the team from Texture. It was a great evening. The 16 Lucky Well spent over two hours in the decanter-it needed more time. Tightly wound wine that need time to uncoil. Striking texturally with high acid and touches of oak on the finish. I found the almond paste and orchard fruit profiles very pleasing. I taste the attention to detail in this wine. — 4 years ago
Excellent, texturé, frais, équilibré. — 5 years ago
Fine smooth wine. Mark tastes licorice and fruits. I think all just blends well. — 6 years ago
Texture Ferrington Pinot Noir. Medium ruby red in color. The nose is exotic & sell it.
The wine is robust, bright acidity & firm tannins(1-hour decanting)
Ripe cherry, bruised plum, dry savory herb. A pronounced spice finish. Personally would wait another year or so before opening a bottle. Wouldn’t surprise me if somebody thoroughly enjoyed this wine in 10 years. Cheers! — 4 years ago
