A aus Abtserde from young vines. Nose unmistakable Keller. Depth of flavour through the roof with tropical fruits lingering in the background. Strength, balance and precision. Could still taste this minutes later...wow.
Drinking this sort of wine is always a privilege and should be done with excellent friends! — 2 days ago

Another solid vintage of this benchmark FLX Riesling. Light golden color. Aromas and flavors of green apple, peaches, citrus and white flowers. (No distinct petrol note). Nice mineral touch on the finish. Vibrant acidity and nice length. Medium bodied. Fruit forward but delicate and bone dry. Solid. Thank you for sharing this one with us, Kevin Z! — 22 days ago
Smell: strong tropical smell, combination of peach, melon and passion fruit.
Taste: strong taste of peach and pineapple. Off dry taste with low acidity and low tannins.
Appearance: clear liquid with a very pale intensity.
Conclusion: very good wine. — 6 days ago

I hate it when storage and transports robs the potential of a wine away, but I hate it even more when it happens to a wine I usually adore. Such was the case here. There was just too much distracting petrol notes on the nose for a Riesling this young. Having said that, there was still lots packed into this wine, especially on the palate. Seriously structured with laser acidity, and very generous on the fruit end (as expected of Hubacker). Finish was quite long, almost exotic, with some minerality although it pales in comparison to the Mosel GG we drank this with. The others on the table certainly enjoyed the wine, though I can’t say the label didn’t help. — a month ago
