Lovely opening & mid-palate—fresh, supple, big black tea note, plum skins— followed by massively astringent tannic finish. Needs food. #georgianwine #kakheti — 3 years ago

2020. Initial aromas included some effusive funk that dissipated over an hour or so to reveal stone fruit pits and floral notes. Similar flavors, lower acidity and a pretty good tannic finish. I pulled it to pair with the warm spices and astringent eggplant in a rich moussaka and it complimented really well. — 8 months ago

The Rkatsiteli. Bone dry earthiness with a sherry nose. Good acidity and medium bodied, but definitely a bit funkay! — 5 months ago
