Surprisingly good! Malibu wine, who knew! — 15 days ago
Cherry cola meets dusty tea nose. Like the new cherry cola tea Icee flavor you would have as a kid on a weekend shopping spree. Smooth and subdued, a refined yet fun and sexy fruit-forward leathered cola romp on a saddle. The upper echelon of the region. Giddy-up! Enjoyed with white saucy scallops and mushrooms over par-cooked onions and penne. — 2 years ago

From a 16 acre vineyard in the hills of Bel Air. Probably the most expensive vineyard property in the US. It’s currently owned by Rupert Murdoch, but this is from before his purchase in 2013. This is legit good. Much better than any Malibu wines I’ve had. 13.8 listed alcohol and fairly restrained style. Let’s rip down all of those mansions and plant some grapes! — 5 months ago

Spicy on the tongue with fruity plums, long dry finish but not overly dry. — 3 years ago
Some serious Juice from Paso,
Definitely not an Austin Hope fruit bomb 💣 thankfully. Buy it if you can find it. Give it 3-4 hours of air. This reminds me of Stanleys Syrah at TOP Winery
Jeb 💯 review as follows
Based on 92% Syrah, 6% Mourvèdre, and 2% Grenache that was brought up in 90% new oak, it offers an incredible, meaty, smoky, deep, and concentrated style as well pure black fruits, violets, and peppery aromas and flavors. With ultra-fine tannins, full-bodied richness, and that rare mix of power and elegance, Central Coast Syrah (or red wine, for that matter) doesn’t get any better. Give bottles 2-3 years, count yourself lucky, and enjoy over the following 10-12+ years. — 5 months ago
The Troubadour - loved this one. WineText. $27.11. 9/11/2020. — 2 years ago
With lunch, this amazing 08 Walter Hansel. Well deserving of a 93 on technical merits but, even a little higher on the pleasure scale.
On the nose, ruby older fruits of; blackberries, dry cranberries, dark cherries, stewed plums, blueberries hues, cooked rhubarb, pomegranate and black raspberries. Vanilla, cinnamon, clove, dark spice, steeped tea, limestone minerals, dry stems, underbrush, hints of black cherry licorice/cola, saddle-wood, touch herbaceous with bright withering red florals.
The drinking window is right around its peak. The body in medium, round and lush. Ruby older fruits of; blackberries, dry cranberries, dark cherries, stewed plums, poached strawberries, blueberries hues, cooked rhubarb, pomegranate and black raspberries. Vanilla, cinnamon, clove, dark spice, steeped tea, limestone minerals, dry crushed rock powder, dry stems, underbrush, hints of black cherry licorice/cola, saddle-wood, touch herbaceous with bright withering red florals. The acidity is round and like a rain shower. The finish is; beautiful, ripe, lush, elegant well balanced and polished.
