Chablis Dessus Carriere

Not a typical Chablis to my mind. Yes a hint of green in the colour but lower in mineralogy and that element of flint. Nevertheless a lovely wine with peachy fruit and decent body and length. Think more southern Burgundy. I would definitely buy again at this price point. — 4 days ago

Vespidae Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2010

Tannins still firm, and compliment of toast. Hints if herb and black cherry, some of the riper plum. Amazing after all this time. — 5 months ago

Maison Angelot

Vin du Bugey Gamay 2018

So very gulpable I’ll take mine in a Big Gulp cup, thank you. Jk I’m drinking out of a Burgundy glass but what else is new? Light on tannin, big on acid and spice and almost cherry cough syrup but not in a bad way notes. Goes down easy. So Bugey. — 4 months ago

Provocateur Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2018

Delectable Wine
9.1

Deep, bright-rimmed magenta. Smoke- and spice-accented cherry and black raspberry aromas take on a suave floral quality with air. Supple and broad on entry and then more taut in the midpalate, offering bitter cherry, dark berry and candied licorice flavors and a hint of espresso. Finishes long and chewy, with dusty tannins lending final grip. 15% new oak. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, August 2020)

Tastes a little racist. They should probably sponsor a NASCAR race...JK...JK...I kid. Pretty decent neutral tasting vodka here. — 6 months ago
