Baronesa P. Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2019

Blend of 75% Cab Sauv, 9% Carmenere, 6% Petit Verdot, 5% Cab Franc & 5% Syrah, aged 14 months in French oak, 65% new. Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits, spices and herbal earthy tones. On the palate flavors of blackberry, ripe cherry and currants, with herb notes and black pepper spice. Ripe chewy tannins showing it’s youth, long finish ending with earthy herb notes. Very nice, let this one develop in cellar for a few years. — 5 days ago

Don Melchor Puente Alto Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2018

That was a different Can Sauv! Jammy like a Shiraz with thick, warm, sweet undernotes. Had depth and complexity and finishing with a firm stronghold on your through. Just strange. Maybe should give it a higher rating…

Bicicleta Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2019

No one wanted to open this bottle at a function, so I took it home. We don’t want to waste anything, let alone a bottle of wine.
Nose has nice complexity, with blackberry, red cherry, fig, black pepper, and subtle green note that’s the signature of Chilean cab.
Medium body, juicy and quite eloquent.
Very pleasantly surprised.

Tastes like carmenere. Tasty wine. Violets, blackberry pate de fruits, summer herbs. — 17 days ago

Estate Bottled Casa Real Alto Santa Rita Old Vines Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Extremely solid wine, could have sat in bottle many more years. No one guessed it was Chilean and by far the best Cabernet from Chile I have ever had. Big blue and red fruits, cigar wrapper, graphite, yum yum 😋 — 12 days ago

Valle Central Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

It’s probably an 8.7 but almost every time I’ve had a Chilean cab it was not great but this was actually intriguing and nice. Perhaps because it was made in Napa using Chilean crop? — 22 days ago

Carmenere 2019

Wily and coy, leading me down a dusk-lit walkway of cobblestones and cascading ivy, whispering and beckoning through the shadows to a well hidden speakeasy entrance where it knows the doorperson. Must let it open for some minutes before tasting, let the demons out and then the softness reveals itself….

[The Original Ungrafted] Maipo Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Immediately, black pepper on the nose. Cherry and raspberry follow. Good color, medium tannin, fruit forward and good for a Wednesday night dinner. — 15 days ago
