Château Potensac

Château Potensac

Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 2008

Ron R

Served at room temp, which was off-putting from the start. Very typical Bdx profile with understated oak and fruits on the nose. Mid-palate offers softish tannins and moderate acidity. Finishes with length. Drink em if you have em. Represents good value from this region. — 2 months ago

Rather more gentle and feminine than the Potensac. — 4 years ago

Château Nenin

Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend 1999

Deep ruby color with brick rim. Well developed wine with vibrant rich aromas of fruits, wood, trufel, spices and tertiary notes: gouache color. Invisible tannins. Elegant, balanced complex wine. Château Nenin is considered one of the better wines in Pomerol. Estate belongs to Delon since 1997 (owns Château Potensac & 2nd growth Château Leoville-Las Cases). 32 ha vineyard: Merlot 78%, CabFr 21%, CabS 1%. Château Nénin is the epitome of a great Pomerol "vin de garde" (wine for laying down). Rating 4,3/5 — 6 years ago

Fugue de Nénin

Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

Delon family (Las Cases, Potensac) Great Pomerol for the price. 2014 is accessible in its youth. Little bit of a modern approach, but still has some nice tannin structure. — 5 years ago
