I’m not at Finca Cortesin but at our new part time Casares home trying out the economically priced wines. This was under 10€. I bought from a market on Saturday, drank on Sunday, and now need to figure out where I got it so I can get some more. — 5 months ago

Amazing #vinako !! … Fresh and refreshing mid-weight Rivera del Duero. Gentle tannins. Expected low acidity and flavors of ripe strawberry fruit, herbs, leather, licorice, cocoa and tobacco but with complexity and a mineral smooth beautiful finish that one don’t expect in such a young wine… In my modest and humble opinion one of the BEST wine producers on the planet…. I am just looking at the bottle in disbelieve and thankfully thinking about however made this nectar of the Gods possible… Every HITO is exactly that : en event , a celebration, an accomplishment … What can I say … Thank you !! And keep it cming for years to come… — 2 years ago

Ripe dark berry fruits, cassis, light vanilla, autumn leaves, and hint of cured meat fill the dark brooding nose. Fresh cherry and raspberry, peppery spice add to flavors. Medium to full body. The acidity is as good as it gets - round , vivid but not obstructive. The lightly candied tannins are soft yet assertive.
Supposedly one vine only produces one bottle, hence the name Una Cepa. A superb RdD. — 2 years ago
Simply put, just delicious to drink. Enhanced by a plate of red wine braised short ribs made it even more enjoyable. — 3 years ago
