Very nice and smooth! Very bright on the nose but a deliciously smooth blend. Great bargain for $13 — 8 years ago

Block 509 Reserve Pinot Noir 2013

Great aromas of black cherries with a delicate spice that gains depth and complexity as the wine opens up. Silky smooth and worth it!!!! — 8 years ago

Probably the best deal in Walla Walla at $15 or $9 if you buy a case. PLUS....it's an '07 = kick-ass Washington vintage. 93pts / $9-15 Skylite Cellars / 509 — 10 years ago

Walla Walla Valley Merlot 2005

Okay so full disclosure, I made this wine. I had put a few cases away & just didn't have easy access. Finally getting back to this wine and love the cooler climate vineyard influence.

Perfumed raspberry and coffee notes. Toasted almond and vanilla. Sweet cherry leads and bright acidity provides a scaffold for the smooth finish.

Fun wine worth revisiting in the future.

Bright cassis in color. The nose was a blend of new leather and bright juicy cherries. I really like California Pinot. $17/90pts SWS/509 — 9 years ago
