Mellow all the way through start to finish, creamy, hints of plum, honey, coffee. Frankly more Merlot like than Sirah. Had with grilled sirloin, Brussel sprouts and twice baked potato. Would be better with chicken, pasta or pork. I like bigger bold Sirah with beef. My mistake tonight. — 7 years ago
Lemony, full citrus, excellent with grilled tilapia and pasta with broccoli. Not great by itself but perfect with this meal. — 7 years ago
Terrific Oregon Pinot. Fresh new wine taste. Balanced start to finish. Will not offend a single guest. Having with Fajitas and yellow rice. Perfect. — 8 years ago
French Ganache. A tad dry at first but explodes with fruity berries. A terrific value choice. — a year ago
Not a Rose’ fan but if this is the new direction I’m in. Cherries and as it warmed hazelnut. I’ll try anything Dave Phinney makes once or twice and I suggest you do to. Great on Saturday afternoon watching college football and eating pepperoni pizza. GBR! — 7 years ago
Changing my mind about Syrah and Washington state. Balanced and delightful. Medium start, smooth finish. Red meat companion. — 7 years ago
Opened for a recipe then had with the dish. Skillet roasted cauliflower and sausage rigatoni. Thought the bottle was flat and offered nothing after a dry grapefruit start. But when paired with this dish of pasta, sausage, parsley, cauliflower, carrot and garlic, it was amazing. The perfect compliment. A case of food making the wine. Of course it’s from Monterey County. — 7 years ago
Deep purple, teeth stainer but tremendous from first swig. Earthy, berries, plum, chocolate, had with rare grilled cheeseburgers, corn on the cobb, green salad with pomegranate, cranberries, flax seed with vinaigrette dressing. Wine was perfect for this late summer meal. — 7 years ago
Drink the '13 if you can get it. Wait on the '15, it's ok now but will be smashing in '19 or '20. Terrific wines from Morgan. — 7 years ago
