Probably one of the most exciting drinks I've ever had. Cappellano Barolo 2015, when we talk about Barolo we cannot fail to mention this historic winery in Serralunga.
A wine that has it all: power, elegance, acidity, harmony and freshness. Bright garnet color, with very slight orange nails, rich and intense nose. Cherry, strawberry, clove, violet, rose, pronounced balsamic sensations, already from youth, gentian chocolate, sage and thyme. A kaleidoscope bouquet, constantly changing. In the mouth fresh despite the hot vintage, Barolo that despite its perfectly balanced tannins you can drink without anything, so much is its harmony. — 4 years ago
Langhe Nebbiolo that can very well be mistaken for a Barolo. The elegance of Cannubi can be felt, tannins are strong, intense, but fine and seductive, scents that recall the Nebbiolo in all its maximum expression, cherry, rose, violet, raspberry, pine needles, sage, and whoever has more, it is difficult not to finish the bottle in a short time.
We are talking about the king of Barolo Bartolo Mascarello.

💪🏼Power and elegance, 🍇100% Barbera by Giacomo Conterno, who year after year never ceases to amaze, for his great ability to combine power and elegance in the same sip. Fat but fresh wine, rich in ripe fruit, fine and persistent. Barbaresco of a beautiful vintage, 2008, coming from a, we can say it, grand cru of Barbaresco, the Montestefano, completely exposed to the South, good component of blue marl in the subsoil.
The wine after two hours of opening is expressed with intense balsamic sensations of gentian, liquorice, dark chocolate and dark tones such as underbrush, musk and mushrooms and hints of ripe fruit.
Tannin still tense and alive, significant that would still be able to age very well.
Great Barbaresco with a complex and rich sip, fully representative of the territory.
Very little sulphur and intervention both in the vineyard and in the cellar.
