excellent but too young. had to make a buy decision for more bottles so decided to open it. decanted 3 hours. PnP and it was very tight and tannins very strong. berry and tobacco on the nose. after 2 hours it loosened up and the nose and palette 7 opened to dark berries and violets. had against th 13 Black Croydon. split decision with the crowd which was prefered. certainly the Hunnicutt was more refined and slightly more oak. served with ribeye and paired perfectly. — 7 years ago
no value proposition here. pure decadence and endulgence. fantastic never ending stream of very fine micro bubbles. a mild nose of pear, and some other light crisp fruit. effervescent on the palette, tart and dry like an unripe granny smith. very long finish. paired with fresh figs wrapped in Iberico ham. triple creme, cantaloupe, raspberries and fresh baguette — 7 years ago
excellent but very young. decanted 3 hours and drank over the next 3. all the other descriptions are dead on. the tannins are very pronounced upon open and very present after 2 hours. it loosened up and was very drinkable after 3.5. tried this against the 2013 Hunnicutt which was more approchable after 2 hours. served with ribeye on the grill paired perfectly — 7 years ago
excellent. full bodied a still a good amount of structure. the tannins are fully integrated and drinking really well now. happy we waited. — 7 years ago
saw several reviews saying they were drinking well so I opened r up. bright garnet color with cherry and cola on the nose. black cherry and charcoal on the palet. nice mouth feel, dry but well balanced still has some tannin left but I think this is done developing. it's a good wine but for the price and aging I was hoping for more. — 7 years ago

I think this bottle may have been exposed to high temp in transit. came off a little bitter, nothing like my previous experiences with this vintage — 7 years ago
