Jean Paul Trocadero, Brut sparkling wine. This comes from the Savoie region of the French Alps, and even though it tastes very much like a traditional brut champagne, by law it cannot be referred to as champagne. Therefore, it’s a sparkling wine. It’s crisp and bursts with a variety of citrus and apple flavors. I found this surprisingly full-flavored, and dry. — 12 years ago
Gamay, Beaujolais, France - Red Burgundy, DuBoeuf Morgon, Domaine de la Chaponne, 2009 - Dark brooding core with lovely purple rim. Fresh, sweet red fruity nose with some mint and thyme. Tight, a bit edgy with a tannic bite. Palate is not as expressive the nose - red fruits, more woody herbs, and a touch of wood and pepper. Needs a bit more bottle age before it starts to sing! — 12 years ago

Aged eight months in small French and American oak barrels. Felino is a family of Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Chardonnay. Unfiltered and unrefined. The tannins and oak are not overpowering. Smokey, blackberry, blueberry; semi-dry. — 12 years ago
