I'm partial to cab sauvs, but this wine is highly drinkable despite it being on the dryer side.
Notes of blackberries and chocolate.
Received from a high profile wedding.

Clean, easy to drink, lemony after taste, tart raspberry in the pallet, fresh cut grass or light herb garden on the nose. Recommend. Drank with Josh on NYE at our favorite hole in the wall Italian restaurant Cafe Gazelle in Long Beach. — 7 years ago
Had higher hopes for this bc I usually like Italian wines. But I couldn't tell that it was a cab sauv and can sauvs are my favorite. The fact that the grapes were dried made it thicker bodied, and had dry rasiny taste. Richer but didn't go with our beef roast. Maybe pairs better with chickens or birds. — 7 years ago
Deep bodied, good legs, tart berry flavor, with a slight sweetness after awhile. Enjoyed a bottle looking over the Santa Barbara coast. — 7 years ago
Mellow, easy to drink, well rounded, chill wine. Ate with fish, but may be better with white sauce pasta or desert. — 7 years ago

I was given this wine when I stayed at the cottage where Proulx winery is located for my bachlorette weekend. We didn't get a chance to drink it then, and I just stumbled upon it in our wine collection. This wine is amazing!! It has a berry nose and tastes like boysenberry and smoke, but in a really delightful way. It's drinkable, jammy, has good viscosity, not too watery or thick. I would buy this if I ever came across it again, 10/10. — 5 years ago
