dark plums, soy sauce, iron and meaty notes from the syrah. very interesting nose, but disappointing in the palate.
Nose: You just mucked out the stalls and walked away with the barnyard floor on your feet. As it sits, opens to a more savory and salty scent. Mouth: Vegemite and tamari with a hint of leather shoe store.
Too much barnyard poop on the nose, but disappears on the tongue.

Petrol on the nose, hot on the tongue, but only noticed the tannins on the finish after the acidity went away.

Like hugging a goat and burying your face in its fur. Gamey and savory. Roasted herbs and earthy, finish. On the nose petrol and charcoal briquettes. Beets would be a great pairing.
