Alleluia! Safety first in the alto Piemonte! Dried cherries, wild roses and pepper melange! This wine crushes it! Insane amounts of soily minerals and the %5 vespolina definitely adds another element, pumped! — 9 years ago
Now this is a killer rosè! The 1st of three wines enjoyed with Ilaria Romano on her last night in Chicago. %100 Cabernet franc, nuff said! — 9 years ago
Ohh, how Sicily is so often overlooked...grazie Benanti! One of their cru's that screams burgundy! Outstanding with our short rib gnocchi ;-) — 9 years ago
The ultimate seafood wine! 11' from the slopes of vesuvio, only the strong survive here, coda di volpe, falanghina, piedirosso...ripe apricots, stony minerality and an amazingly rich and clean texture. It rocked with roasted Pacu! — 9 years ago
The closest thing I've had to Super Jessico 13'! Pretty cool...dark berry fruit, olives, dried flowers and slightly funky. — 9 years ago
Wowsers!!! One of my oldest wines in the cellar finally popped for the cause! Riesling is the greatest grape varietal in the world! Still soo alive and incredibly refined and powerful. Spicy apricots, insane amounts of leady minerality and petroleum, soo cool! Beautiful throughout the evening and easily the boss of the show! — 9 years ago
The perfect Sunday night steak wine...the soft perfumy fruit is well integrated with the new French oak, which I'm sure there is! The bottle was almost gone before we sat down to dinner! A new world light weight style for Brunello, but it was damn good tonight! #neededamagnum — 9 years ago
Soft fruit, perfume and femininely smooth...enjoyed after work, in the park, with whatever drinking vessel I could find, perfect! It's Pinot noir by the way... — 9 years ago
