This was awful. I thought, Sonoma Zin for under $15? That’s worth a try. Wrong. It was undrinkable. Even Bota is drinkable. This was not. (F-) — 3 years ago

This might be the best box wine I’ve ever had. If it were an $18 bottle I might only rate it an 84, but for $29 a box it doesn’t get much better! — 8 years ago

Oak and butter. This wine is medium full bodied and really nails the oak and butter profile found in so many California Chardonnays. Very much yum — 8 years ago

Really bad right out of the bottle. Good thing I poured this into my decanter and not down the drain because this was a pretty good wine. Medium bodied in spite of the 15% alcohol content, this wine is very dry with subtle fruit notes and a hint of tobacco. — 8 years ago

Tastes like a well made California Merlot. You really can’t expect better for the price. You’d be hard pressed to find better for twice the price, honestly. Fruity but not sweet. Hint of bourbon. Easy buy — 7 years ago

This is a great wine and was my go to California red for years until the price jumped from $10 to $17. To be fair this tastes like a $30 bottle so I guess I can't really complain. Fruit forward, bone dry, very full bodied. Better at just a tad bit colder than room temperature. — 8 years ago

Red blend from Napa. While this pales in quality to almost any other Napa wine out there, it is a helluva good $8 bottle. Very fruit forward, medium bodied, medium dry, and not very tannic. — 8 years ago

I would not have guessed that this was champagne. It tasted like a mediocre California sparkling wine. Not worth the $20 I paid for it. Crisp and tart with hints of apple. Meh — 8 years ago

Okay whisky for $20. Peaty but thin. Reminds me of Ardbeg; I am not fond of Ardbeg. Save your money and buy bourbon at this price. If you want islay, buy Laphroig or Lagavulin — 8 years ago

This tastes more like a Bordeaux to me than a Cab from Napa, but it is so excellent that I'll let it slide. This is a full bodied wine with strong oak, leather, smoke, and honestly a hint of tree bark (in a wonderful way!) This is close to a perfect wine. Buy all you can. — 8 years ago
