2017 vintage, purchased at winery and enjoyed two days later at Hattaway’s on Alder in Walla Walla, a few miles from where the grapes were grown. Beautiful structure with subtle fruit and mild tannins. Showcases winemaker Ashley Trout’s deft touch. Highly recommended. — 6 years ago

Purchased during a Napa trip in 2010, and stashed in my cellar. I was worried I missed its peak, but if I did it wasn't by much. Lucious blackberry fruit, and even some pepper-y notes on the tongue. Beautiful color, too. At 10 years it is showing remarkably well. — 8 years ago

Can't recall where I found this bottle, but happy to "rediscover" it deep in my cellar. Honeysuckle and Granny Smith apple still prevalent on the nose. Very nice at 18+ years. — 9 years ago
