Beatiful, pronounced wine. Sharp and well defined acidity, peach, apricot, floral and minerality on nose. Green apple, slightly sweet but so well balanced. Love this wine — 9 years ago

Light bodied, very pale in color. Rubber, white plum, faint white pepper on nose. Fruit forward immediately into funk. Good amount of acid that good fade with a bit of age. Lasting notes of minerality and slight tannin. Overall very interesting wine that could use some age, or at least decanting. — 9 years ago

Dark garnet color, full body. Nose has spice, mineral, pipe tobacco, soft vanilla with some black fruit to round it out. High acid and grippy tannins with primary flavors of unripe black fruit, green peppers and some minerality. Awesome. — 9 years ago

Dark, ruby red, medium body, faint dried mango, sandalwood, sulphur, gunpowder burnt balsa wood on nose. Tons of tannins and acid. Wood carries into taste, dry finish, with wood, stem and seed lasting on tongue. Not quite for me but it seems like a good example of the style — 9 years ago

Medium full body, golden color. Lots of green apple, some unripe lemon peel on nose, with a slight bit of rot and crushed mineral. Thick sweetness immediately fades into lemon and moderate plus acid. Moderate plus alcohol. Overall a nice white that's best enjoyed on its own (and certainly not paired with Asian as I did). — 9 years ago

Dark rich color, similar to dark lingonberry syrup, medium light body. Notes of straw, blueberry jam and strawberry compote and a tiny bit of granite and faint hint of cooked broccoli, not very strong on nose. Tastes of slight fruit, tiny bit of pale straw, raw mushroom, woodsy pepper throughout. More fruit developing as it breathes. Medium mouthfeel. High acid, giving way to lasting tannin. Overall a nice interesting glass. — 9 years ago
