As the name suggests, heavy cigar box on the nose. this full bodied wine starts Sweet plums followed by vanilla and ends with a silky finish. Paired wonderfully with grilled pork covered with sauteed onions and peppers — 5 years ago

Dark cherry and notes Carmel with a dry smoky finish. A good wine by its self but could use a hearty food or a dark chocolate. — 5 years ago
Strong notes of dried red fruit, baking spices and pepper on the nose. High acid and tanin leave this wine slightly unbalanced. Not a bad wine, but rioja has much better wines at similar price. — 5 years ago
