Maybe it was the 12 hours of work prior . Maybe it's the drop in temperature these last couple of days . This wine straight from opening hit all the happy buttons. Drink it on its own on with some rustic bread , olive oil and a selection of non supermarket , unpasteurised rind washed cheeses . — 10 years ago

On opening I thought nah. The balance was all wrong. It was like going out on a date with someone who doesn't wanna be there. It may improve over a couple of days but if it was a date, why bother holding onto their number . — 10 years ago
