2004 needs a few more years. Sunny, tannic, peppers and ripe plums. Med-light mouth, finish is still mostly tannic and leather. Bears repeating: needs more years. Put it in your cellar and forget it till 2018 — 9 years ago

Velvety blood garnet in colour, very forward notes of cherry, apple, and daisies on the nose. Light to medium body on the tongue, a little bit of oak just to round it off. Easy drinking, fresh fruit jam with a touch of warmth. Great for pork terrine — 9 years ago
VERY fragrant and deeply layered nose, medium light body, great slightly-viscous mouth, lightly rose and honey over plum and (yep) grape that hint at leather. Great easy drinking, but very much clearly wine, wine — 9 years ago
Medium full bodied juicy red with plenty of red fruit, warm spices, green peppers, leather and oak. And a nice medium, even slightly sweet finish. Wonderfully well received table wine — 10 years ago
Rich burgundy colour on the brownish side of burgundy, light and not at all viscous. Light red fruit, violets and cassis on the nose with just the faintest hint of tannins and leather rounding it out. Fruity light body, burnt berry bush, and a little touch of tannin on a mid finish that just hints of cinnamon and green pepper, all under that pervading cassis and currant after taste. Super easy drinking wine, quite a bit of complexity underneath. — 9 years ago
Very rounded wine, easy to drink, some tannins and leather with very light raspberry blackberry and grape, some warm spices (cumin). Just a touch of oak so you know it's there. Mid mouth, mild. Really, a flavourful touch of everything — 9 years ago
Apple-y and mouth filling for a white with a touch of acid to balance out the finish. Great by itself and with a book! — 10 years ago

Plums, red fruit and leather tannins on the nose, very typical of Rioja wines. Cherry, honey and red fruits on the palette, mid light body, tannic but light finish, bottle of Spanish sunshine. — 9 years ago
