Couple of hours of decanting needed to open up!!! But once it did it was almost like a port. Smooth, liquorice..

Beautiful Rhone blend from a famous wine consultant! Lots of fruit, medium body - not as heavy as other rhone blends - acidity that dissipates in the finish. Vanilla, blackberry, earth. 2016 vintage was great but can surely stay for a few more years. — 5 years ago

Almost old world Syrah from California!! Lighter than old world but still jammy!! Beautiful color, great bouquet on the nose. Pepper, sour cherry. Tannins are well, but not fully, integrated. Still get some puckering on back end... — 6 years ago

A beautiful blend of Sauvignon Blanc blended with just enough Chardonnay to give the wine some depth and body. Crisp on the palate with a golden straw color. Less acidic than typical SB and less oak than typical Chard. Hay, some pear, green apple. Great summer afternoon supper... — 6 years ago
An elegant wine reminding us the with a pronounced old world funk on the nose that this is indeed a Bordeaux. Had a 2010 in Jan 2020 and decanted it for two hours. It still feels like a youth who believes they have reached maturity and are rating too go...but just needs a tiny bit more time. Nevertheless 2hours decanting did work wonders. Beautiful color with hints of mushrooms and forest floor and maybe cloves or nutmeg. Mellowed tannins on the backend with medium to low acidity. — 6 years ago

2008 vintage drinking in 2020 from a historic storied winery! Purple in the glass with smooth and mellowed tannins. Vanilla, cherry, blackberry. Well balanced and does not feel high in alcohol even with 13% alcohol… — 5 years ago
