Punched in the nose with the aroma of melting strawberry hard candy. Remember the ones your grandma had in her purse with the gooey insides and foil wrapper meant to look like a strawberry? That and oooooooverripe watermelon. Not what I expected. Thin and a little diluted on the palate with a vodka note. So my guess is this was flawed. I bought two other bottles and will see if I can garner any clues from them. But there's no way this wine is quite right. No way. — 6 years ago
Fresh nose with a nice sting of raspberry. Some spice and herb. Nicely incorporated tannins (fine/med) with nice balance. Lighter in body than I expected but an absolute joy! — 6 years ago

Clear, deep purple with a medium + pronounced nose of blackberry, black cherry, vanilla, chocolate and caramel. Medium dry, medium acidity (this is where it’s lacking for me), medium tannins, medium body. Fruity on the plate with some spice. Medium finish.
Definitely not balanced. It’s not bad, but definitely needs decanting or some more acid. I get that they wanted to turn down the tannins but I think they went too far. Flabby almost. — 6 years ago
