The nose was driven by rose petal, leather, and vanilla from the barrique . There are undertones of some dusty earth and wet mushroom. The fruit is starting to fade on the nose but on the palate shows a lot of tangy dried cranberry. Alcohol is a little hot and with persistent tannins and pleasantly tart acidity.
