Pours a nice purple with a lighter rim, decent legs and a pleasant nose. Tastes of raspberry, plum, subtle vanilla and oak (some dirt too). Clean finish and underdeveloped tannins. Bought a second bottle to age and compare, at $9 it’ll be a fun comparison without breaking the bank. Was hoping for more complexity, but this will do fine with dinner. — 4 years ago
