This was a pleasant surprise of a wine find. Dark fruit forward bouquet with medium oaky cigar notes. It smacks of a licorice finish.. at least on Day 2/3 of drinking the same bottle. I would definitely get again and am intrigued to learn more about Mendoza cab sauvs. — 4 years ago

In all fairness, we probably drank this 2006 vintage after its peak, which was probably around the time we bought it in 2016. Still yet, it’s a bold mature wine with notes of black currant, stone, white pepper, and black cherry. The wine has flavors of pomegranate, tobacco, cherry, and dried apricot. It’s a complex wine that titillates and intrigues with every sip. — 7 years ago

An elegant bouquet that won’t disappoint. I’ve had this several times with an Italian dinner. This wine has great mouthfeel - so supple. It smacks of dark cherry with hints of tobacco. I’m officially a Sicilian wine convert. — 5 years ago

This is my second time trying Siduri. The first time was at a restaurant, and it was excellent. The second time was after buying a bottle from a grocery store, which is always circumspect since they don’t properly store their wines. That being said, I didn’t find the wine as remarkable as the first time I had it but still quite good. Make sure you store the wine properly and give it a good aerating before drinking. The nose has notes of black cherry, black currant, fig, and young oak. Its taste didn’t quite hold up to the nose. The wine has a light bouquet of plum, red cherry, butter, dried apricot, nutmeg, stone and tobacco.

I highly recommend this wine, especially if you can get it for under $30 a bottle. — 7 years ago
