An ok introduction to Montrachet. If you're already familiar, don't bother. — 9 years ago

Fantastic. Somewhat pale but encompasses all of what's good about earthy but refined Italian reds. — 9 years ago

Went to a wine shop that used to stock Yume, a fantastic Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, and they recommended this. Got home and figured out they don't know the difference between a wine from Montepulciano and a wine of Montepulciano. Lol. Not as good as a good Monte but a decent wine nevertheless. Glad I only bought two bottles. — 10 years ago

Ok for a wine you'll gulp with pizza. Not promising anything it can't deliver though. — 9 years ago

Mellow and soft at the start followed by tannins on the finish that give the wine some complexity. Not sure how it would be on its own but a fun Chianti with Italian food. — 10 years ago

Decent acidity but light tannins make for a flat finish. Still, drinkable and refined for its price range. Definitely worth drinking. — 9 years ago

Wine is an adventure and this bottle taught me that a 1er Cru in Burgundy is not the same as a 1er Cru in Bordeaux. Great wine nevertheless. Decanted it -- unnecessarily -- and regretted it towards the end of the bottle as it started to fall apart. I'd buy it again and drink it out of the bottle. — 10 years ago
