Paired with truffled mushroom risotto and scallops which shaped the taste for me. On the nose: Honey dew melon, Standing hay or hay bales. A crisp mix of fresh grass, lemon grass and cantaloupe on the tongue. Finishing with a lingering lemon zest. Refreshing and an improvement over our usual choices of Savignon Blanc. — 4 years ago

Had this with roasted tomatoes over basil Parmesan chicken pasta. I experienced Slight licorice on the nose, normally something I despise... but there is something inviting and warm in the form of vanilla and smoke or tobacco there as well that pulled me in. Then on the palate there’s an over the top sweetness with vanilla and caramel and smoke and some earth. Followed with over ripe cherries that reminisce of pie.. a long semi dry finish. This is very nice for its price and I’ll have to experience it again with a different dish. — 5 years ago
Extremely sweet, over ripe cherry, lots of vanilla, smooth oak finish, mild tobacco buried under the other robust flavors. Somehow reminiscent of Malbec with its sweetness. Won’t be for everyone but if your a cherry and vanilla fan this is a really great $20-30 bottle. — 6 years ago
