Says Sangiovese but drinks like a cab. And why not, Dariousch is across the Silverado trail and stags leap district is just up the road. Cherry cola, strawberry and new French oak. It’s a cab masked as a Sangiovese. Note to vineyard, might want to consider ripping out the Sangiovese vines and put in king cab. My last Sangiovese from Napa. — 7 years ago

2013 vintage on August 17, 2018. Visited the winery this summer. Worth the trip. Tastes like a coastal Pinot noir from California. Earthy pinot, rustic, nice acid. Drinks like a barabera from the piedmont. — 7 years ago

A little itailian varietal from grapes grown on Mendocino County. Some tar, dark cherry, and floral notes notes. Serve with olive oil, cured meats, and rich cheeses. Solid Dolcetto from CA. Keep an eye on this label. — 8 years ago

Disappointing. The 2007 was so@much better Had a funk of rubber hose or musty barrel or over ripe tannins. Better vintages out there for a Nebbiolo. Look to 2010 and wait for the 2013. 2007 was very good — 7 years ago
