Says Sangiovese but drinks like a cab. And why not, Dariousch is across the Silverado trail and stags leap district is just up the road. Cherry cola, strawberry and new French oak. It’s a cab masked as a Sangiovese. Note to vineyard, might want to consider ripping out the Sangiovese vines and put in king cab. My last Sangiovese from Napa. — 6 years ago
Disappointing. The 2007 was so@much better Had a funk of rubber hose or musty barrel or over ripe tannins. Better vintages out there for a Nebbiolo. Look to 2010 and wait for the 2013. 2007 was very good — 6 years ago
A great nose. Haha. Bordeaux blend from Sonoma. 60 cab 40 merlot. Good table wine. Anise or licorice really comes through. — 6 years ago
5th growth Paulliac and flagship wine of Borie Manoux. 2012 not a good year in Bordeaux. Cassis, licorice, and a bit of smoke on the palate. Not sure it will get much better. Better offerings in an average year. About 90. — 7 years ago

2010 on national wine day. A bit of tar and roses and nice brick color. This spanna is starting to drink really nice now. Yes Spanna. When in Rome or in gattinara do as the Ramans and piemonteses wold do. Very nice wine from a good vintage. — 6 years ago
