looking for your weekday zin? BOOM! i’d been looking for Pierano Estates next Lodi Valley Zin and finally they came out with this - i LOVE Turley’s and this is up there for MON- THURS….oaky and jammy but not too sweet. a lighter zin but can’t beat (or hard to) for the price point and days of the week 👍🏽 — 2 years ago
fan of Lodi old vines Zins, so was curious about this Cab from that area to see if i could tell what i like about Lodi Valley. not sure i can connect the dots yet, but i like it; peppery not too jammy not alcoholy, “new worldy” light oakie- another great weekday Cab @ $15 — a year ago
enjoyed this in The Cotswolds on a cold and clammy night- and a home cooked meal with friends - the perfect setting for this old world classic tasting bordeaux. friends reco’d and i’d love to find here in the states — a year ago

purchased at the local HyVee, the wine guy was trying to sell me on all sorts of wines even tho i had already picked this for a weekday wine; he was throwing chardonnays, rieslings, sancere my way and i’m like “those are whites” …he kept coming back from around the corner after he’s leave. so modwestern! 🤣 — a year ago
easy to drinking weekday bottle of Zin - not terribly complex, as jammy and peppery as expected for a Lodi/Old Vine - but with a little smokey finish ….which i wasn’t sure if i liked or not. — a year ago

weekday cab that holds up - not terribly “big”, but a decent structure, slightly complex-ish (let’s call it simple) has an herby start and sweeter finish— far from jammy tho. $18 makes it a weeknight Cab (v. 2022) — a month ago
