Beautiful. Very young & could definitely use some bottle age, but nevertheless quite good. Lots of green & white pepper, earth tones, slate stands out, blended with a newer oak barrel fermentation make for a very traditional Super Tuscan. — 10 years ago

The nose hits you with a lot of Red Berries Immediately up front. Lots of Cherry, Plum & Raspberry that are Very Ripe... This wine saw Very Little to NO Oak. The taste is Extremely Sweet & delivers all those Red Berry characteristics you get with the smell. VeryJammy like a marmalade. Perfect pairing with a salty BBQ. Delicious. — 10 years ago

OMG. The nose on this wine is Amazing. The aroma of fermented French Oak from the Burgundy region with toasted caramel layers & light tarragon. It's like sticking your face in a sauté pan after cooking with veal stock. The taste is slightly deceiving. I feel like I need to drink the whole glass to critique. Very young, and playful. Ripe plum and black cherry. Needs at least 10+ years in the bottle. Buy a case, sit back & reap the rewards when the time's right. Buy while it's reasonable. Price is guaranteed to go up a lot. — 10 years ago

This is a Beautiful wine. A lot of mineral qualities on the nose of this wine. Aroma of Slate rock with sweet, ripe red berries, green & white pepper & a minimal earth/dirt scent. Smells like an area I would look for a creek to fly fish in. The mouth is tart plum with a quick finish. Really light tannins. A Very Very drinkable wine!!! — 10 years ago
