This is a Bordeaux Blend... It's very austere at first by opens nicely with a little breathing time. Dusty tobacco, leather, dried plums and figs, and a good amount of acid make this more of a food wine. Yet I'm having it with a handful of tortilla chips and it's going down pretty nicely! — 10 years ago

This Priorat was a fun find for me at a bargain basement price ... We're talking $6 people! It's a blend of Cab, Syrah, Samsó, and merlot. Licorice, black pepper , cassis, and ripe black cherries mingle beautifully in this robust blend. — 10 years ago

Chenin Blanc from the Loire... Stainless steel, fresh and very bright. Honeycomb, apricot, peach... Very light and lively. Got this from Kermit Lynch and paired it with buttermilk fried chicken and spicy coleslaw .. It worked just fine! — 10 years ago
