Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2009
Very well-balanced, silky and full-bodied with dark chewy cherry but not sweet at all. Mild tannins on first sip that disappear into a smooth finish. We drank this with prosciutto, portobello, and arugula truffle oil pizza. It's was a delicious pairing. Got it atTrader Joe's for $20. — 10 years ago
