Lighter in style than past vintages that I have enjoyed. This wine is a pale straw color with medium intensity on the nose. The aromas bring to mind gooseberry, green grapes, grass, spring herbs, fennel and wet stones. On the pallet, it’s dry with high Acidity, medium body, nice balance and a medium finish. It is more giving as it warms up. I find it to be crisp, nice for an aperitif - at the moment I am thinking of grilled shrimp with a squeeze of lemon or swordfish with capers as a proper partner! — 6 years ago

Full bodied, rich round flavors. On the nose: blossom, pear, peach, banana, passion fruit with ripe flavors. On the pallet a buttery mouth feel with a bit of petrol and cooked fruit like orange marmalade.
2016 is developed. A bit sweet on the pallet for my taste. The alcohol is rather high for a Pinot Gris 14.5
