Elegance personified. There is no pint in preaching about wine to the meek. Baroli are amazing when done well as is this one. — 9 years ago
2010 is a good year for Pommard and especially the #LieuxDit wines. This one has all its faculties in line. It's a #pommard so it needs some time. Rustic and not as expressive as something like a #chambolle but really good. No need for all the #bollocks regarding the nose etc. lovely wine. Will age v well — 9 years ago
2005 Bordeaux is perhaps one of the greatest years ever. This chateau Lyonnat is a regular Saint Emillion wine ~ but the that's when you know your drinking good vintage classic right bank Bordeaux. It just shines and is unbeatable ~ licorice, smoke and Atlantic Ocean aromas, dark kirsch, and a wonderful fat mouth that ends in a nice Darjeeling tea. Really pretty wine !! — 9 years ago
Interesting wine 2006 Chardonnay. Aromas oxidation, walnuts, botrytis, orange peel, the acidity naturally enough has gone but the body is well intact. This wine is like an old Ferrari Dino, a bit out dated but if I told you I was leaving one to you in my last will and testament, I doubt you would refuse it.. — 9 years ago
This Brunello is pretty but lacks character and panache !! Most Brunelli have that little je ne sais quoi ! This one was an off vintage !! It's ok ~ nothing special — 9 years ago
This is a wine that has a nice sleek body. The wine is nicely textured and flows well. It has good fruit, dark chocolate and deep dark fruit on the nose. Good balance between alcohol and body. There is a little sweetness on the palate and it all blends very well for the price it's exceptional. — 9 years ago
This is the most delicate of wines. The oak is present ~ but this wine gives off the most complex Aromas i can think of. Very shrewd, dignified and just lovely. Passion fruit somewhat -wild white flowers and the most delicate mouth feel . People have every right to brag about Cru classed Burgundies from Chassagne and Puligny. Excellent — 9 years ago

The 2012 Chambolle Musigny from #DomaineChristianClerget is really a very pretty wine. It's no wonder that they say the most elegant reds on the #Cotedesnuits are from #chambollemusigny . The wine will only improve with another few years but it was really pretty. It was elegant and aromas of dried raspberry ~ not even. Very succinct and delicate. I get #DarjeelingTea on some great Burgs and off this one too. But it is young and I find too many people make reports on such wines without understanding what the taste profile will be like in 5 years time. What a pity as then it will be georgeous! — 9 years ago
