I thought this smelled like mushrooms but I just sliced a bunch for cooking. Very rich smelling. Purple rim. Lots of legs. Acidic first swirl and second. Finishes warmly. More fruit flavor as it sits. Not something I'd buy again. — 6 years ago
You can smell the wood and it is very aromatic. Medium legs. Purple rim. Taste has variety. A little bit of this and a little bit of that. Dry pallet. I would buy this again. — 5 years ago
Needs 15 minutes of air time to get the merlot smell and taste going. Overall, very tasty for merlot enthusiasts but it's not an Indian Wells. That is my standard for a weekly merlot purchase in a reasonable price range. — 5 years ago
Bold bouquet, crisp, dry, lots of tears, acidic, taste lingers in the mouth. The wine gathers the merlot warm as it sits. If that makes sense. — 6 years ago
2014 - loving it. Tasting the oak. On the drier side and finishes very pleasant.
After 1 hour - this wine keeps getting better. I keep looking at the bottle and my hubby and saying, this is a keeper. I'm a merlot fanatic but this cab is winning me over. — 5 years ago
It's more fruity and good for a table wine. I wouldn't buy it again but would drink it if it was served elsewhere. — 6 years ago
Earthy smell, brown rim, lots of legs, smooth, more acidic, quick after taste but flavorful. Pairs well with red sauce dish. — 6 years ago

2014 - very delicious! Not a big fan of Napa merlot as I usually prefer the Columbia Valley's but this is a game changer. Very light weight with a bold after taste. A nice balance. I will buy it again. — 5 years ago
