I'm not generally much of a Rose drinker, but this is a very nice wine. Fruit-foward without being too sweet or tasting like a wine cooler. — 9 years ago
Absolutely amazing. Huge nose and absolutely explosive on the palate. Sun-warmed cherries and tobacco aromas fill the glass to the brim. Tannin structure is spot on, giving just enough bite to fill out the dark fruit, vanilla, and oak flavors. Truly excellent wine. Hats off! — 9 years ago
A nice Pinot. A bit fruit-heavy for me, but good nonetheless. I would have expected something a little more delicate and nuanced simply based on the other exceptional wines I've had from Stoller. Perhaps a few more years in the bottle will mellow this vintage out. — 8 years ago
A fine addition to Jeff Kandarian's legacy. Has cellared incredibly well. Big, round, spicy; everything you'd want out of a good eastern Washington Syrah. Excellent. — 9 years ago
A perfect example of the excellent fruit that is grown in the Applegate Valley. Aged with incredible grace. — 9 years ago
Short time in barrel still yields a very nice oak profile. Hints of citrus an eucalyptus give a brightness to a bold, yet silky red. An absolute pleasure. — 10 years ago
A very respectable wine from the Applegate, showcasing the varietals they do best. Each varietal takes a turn at the forefront, doing a quick walk and spin down the runway for your palate, and then making way for the next. The 20 month barrel age is apparent in the balanced oak profile and silky mouth feel. I first tasted this wine in the tasting room at Troon, and tonight I'm patting myself on the back for picking up a bottle. — 8 years ago
First impression: ripe blackberries, Dinosaur Egg plums, homemade bread. Excellent wine, with nice nose and flavor. Nice for an every day wine at the price, but also good enough for company. Could use a tad more oak, in my humble opinion. — 9 years ago
Nice aromas, heavy on the dark fruit. Oak toast tends to linger a bit longer than other aromas and flavors. Touts "plush tannins" on the label, but it feels a bit forced and unnatural. Residual sugar is a little high for my tastes, but a lot of California red blend drinkers would likely enjoy it. Interesting and not terrible, but not something I'm likely to buy again. — 9 years ago

What an excellent wine at a great price point. Big citrus and melon on the front with nice acid, and a finish on the back of the palate reminiscent of orange pekoe. Just enough sweetness to pair nicely with spicy food. — 4 years ago
