Big, earthy and rustic. Delicious. A rich red and black fruit, roasted tomato and sweet spice backbone with savoury briny meaty farmyard notes. Very full and broad on the palate (15% abv) but balanced by good acidity. — 8 years ago
Near perfection! Brilliant amber, orange blossom, honey, grilled almonds on the nose w orange peel and hazelnut coming through on the long, long, long palate that is complex and evolving in the glass. Patience has been rewarded with this 1999 vintage. — 8 years ago
