100% merlot, not a bad Bordeaux Superior. Not a life-changer, but nicely tannic and earthy. Agree with others, that it could benefit from some air and some decanting. But, it was dinner time and the steaks were done. So . . . we opened the sucker. — 4 years ago
Lovely California pinot noir. — 5 years ago
2017, nice with tenderloin and sautéed mushrooms. Not overly tannic, not sure what blend is: cab and some Cabernet franc perhaps? Some Merlot? Doesn’t say on the bottle. — 5 years ago

30+ year old Washington State cab. Random selection from an overlooked corner of the cellar. Nice, solid, moderately tannic red wine. Had to be decanted to filter out the sediment. Not a wine to change your life, but it was a nice accompaniment to a NY strip with sautéed mushrooms. Probably the last uncorked bottle of its kind on the planet. — 3 months ago
