The nose and mouth had a distinct earthy feel; forest floor. It is medium - in body and medium in tannin with a ripe berry mouth. — 11 years ago

A Southern Rhone style blend that reflected east bank characteristics (slightly lighter and fruitier). Easy drinking but left the palate unsatisfied. — 11 years ago

I believe we caught this '04 at the tail end of its lifeline. The nose was aggressive with alcohol upon opening but settled throughout the next few hours. It did not turn but I could note the flavors were almost prune-like. There were moments where I caught the characteristics of the concentrated Zinfandel vines but they were few and far between. I wish we opened this a few years ago. — 11 years ago

This Merlot had a very light, semi-floral nose. The mouth showed raspberry nuances and a very short finish. Overall, I found it to be an easy drinking merlot with little complexity. A nice summer red. — 11 years ago
