2011 - Wonderfully aromatic, fresh, complex. — 10 years ago
Nice nose, dried fruits, balanced, some astringency on what is a short finish. Yet, great with food- complementary with but not the star of the meal. — 10 years ago
Camus rarely disappoints, and 2008 is no different. Soft, silky tannins, nicely balanced, strong black fruits, generous on the finish. Not a lot of tertiary aromas, still primary fruits, oakey. — 10 years ago
2008 - restrained on the attack, aromas of strawberries, candied cherries, sweet spice, vanilla, nutmeg, mushrooms, wood. Palate of earth, with coarse tannins and high acidity. Understated fruit, acidity plus tannins slightly overwhelm. Medium finish with a lingering bitter astringency. Improved with time to breathe. — 10 years ago
Nice. Black fruits, strawberries, sous bois. Really nicely balanced. A great everyday wine. — 10 years ago
Fabulous Nebbiolo! Yummy — 10 years ago
Fabulous nose, beautiful black fruits, raisins, violets, smoke, chocolate. Delicious — 10 years ago
Black fruits, pepper, savory, earthy. Beautiful attack, slight sourness on the finish. Still, a very good wine from a classic region. — 10 years ago
Perhaps just this bottle, but a healthy amount of VA on the nose, took time to blow off. Sour cherry, definite earthiness on palate, a touch hot although bottle says 13.3 ABV. Bitter on the finish. — 10 years ago
