Has a deep ruby color with a distinct Cab varietal aroma and fresh light green herbal notes. The rich flavor and balanced finish comes through with loads of chocolate and rich, ripe fruit, specifically blackberry, cherry and plum. For an older wine it still shows through with jammy fruit, toasty oak and hints of licorice and spice that rounds out this well aged wine. — 9 years ago
