Drank at Amaya, natural wine bar in Mexico City. First time tasting Grolleau rouge. Fresh, bright. Perhaps not as ripe as the label would suggest... Grololo is apparently slang for big boobs. Huhuh. — 8 years ago
Unmistakable. Right Darrin ? — 9 years ago
Monument of dust when open. Came around quickly, showing the requisite dry spice and earthy elegance expected. Very subtle on palate, not a lot of concentration, still with great harmony between fine tannin and fading acidity. Nicely mature, much more developed on day 2. — 7 years ago
What can ya say. Very bright. Raging petrol awesomeness. — 8 years ago

2005 was the first year for this appellation. Not too sure of their expected potential. This was funny mess at first. 20 minutes in the horse poo is turning up saddles, root beer, coffee candy. Palate is dried way out. Austere, faintly grippy tea tinged finish. Probably wants fat. — 8 years ago
